Red sea coast south of Hurghada.

My wife and I shore dived the coast about 150km south of Hurghada at Marsa Nakari and Marsa Shagra in 1996. We went on a weeks jeep safari with Oonasdivers, camping on the beach with unlimited shore diving and jeep trips out to other dive sites daily. The diving was unbelievable, some days we dove before breakfast as the reefs were awakening up, the first divers in.

The campsites are basic but ok, with all food provided by staff with a large living area tent for resting between dives and in the evening and small 2 person tents to sleep in. Also the camps now have guest houses if you don't wish for the outdoor life. For more details visit Oonasdivers.com
